Why no-till is now indispensable:<\/h4>\n

\u2022 Climate protection: No-till conservatively binds 1.4 t CO\u2082 per hectare per year. On 98.1 million ha, that’s 137 million t CO\u2082\/year \u2013 equivalent to the annual emissions of 30 million cars.
\n\u2022 Resource efficiency: 75% less diesel used (from 64 l to 16 l\/ha) saves \u20ac116\/ha. 58% less working time saves \u20ac56\/ha. Total savings: \u20ac252\/ha.
